The Gateway of India has probably been photographed a million times already, which makes it that much hard for any photographer to go and create magic by clicking it for the millionth time. To top it all, I went in the late afternoon with rain and a massive crowd enjoying the beauty of the monument.

I chose a panorama as it shows the sheer grandness of the monument. Also, it makes the crowd in front seem insignificant and adds to the over all picture. This technique is commonly used by travel photographers, who cannot make any changes to the location and have to be spontaneous in their approach. As a tip, always carry your camera bag when shooting in a rain rich city like Bombay.
